J.W. Smith (also known by many as Dr. Feelgood) is one of the most incredible performers in
southeastern Ohio!
After reading about this outstanding performer and hearing about his shows around the area,
we invited J.W. to join us for a session of "Hometown Showcase". He blew us away!
With just his keyboard and vocal, it became one of our most talked about shows.
We later had the opportunity to work with J.W. on his "Hymns Plus" CD, mixing and mastering that CD and
manufacturing the completed product.
His next CD, "Hymns Plus Vol 2" was recorded and produced at D & R Studio. In addition, he invited us (The D & R Studio Band)
to perform two tracks on that CD with him! We had a ball!
J.W. also has two other CD's currently released, "Feelin'Good, A Sample Of Things To Come" and "It's All Good"
We have had the great pleasure to work with J.W. Smith on a number of live shows around the area,
including The Athens County Fair, The Nelsonville Parade Of The Hills, a showcase held at
Stuarts Opera House in Nelsonville, and we'll be working with J W again at the next benefit for the Ohio Federation
Of The Blind to be held this May in Athens.
We are now excited to be in the planning stages of a brand new CD with J.W., a
CD that will showcase his Dr. Feelgood personna, and will surely bring J.W. an even wider
fan base!
